Bayou Boogaloo in Norfolk this weekend

bayou boogaloo norfolk va If you read my blog you will notice I am a huge music fan. That being said the music of New Orleans is one of my favorite genres of music. If it’s yours as well, head to Norfolk this weekend for the The Bayou Boogaloo & Cajun Food Festival Norfolk VA’s annual fest with New Orleans’ special spirit and unique Bayou culture. This popular 3-day festival delivers the heart and soul of Louisiana at the newly re-done Town Point Park in true Cajun and Creole style.

When: July 31- August 2, 2009

Musical lineup includes: Little Feat, Marc Broussard, Radiators, Dr. John, Terrance Simien, Nathan & Zydeco Cha Cha’s, Little Malcolm & the Zydeco Houserockers, Bonerama, Steve Riley & Mamou Playboys, and Anders Osbourne.

In addition to the vast set of musical artists and groups, Norfolk Festevents will feature authentic Cajun and Creole food, specialty entertainers and
activities for all ages to enjoy.
