Acoustic Image is made up of five talented musicians who perform tunes ranging from country, bluegrass, pop and jazz. It’s members include Bill Gurley and singer-songwriter Mary Lou Osterhous, Performing with bassist Jimmy Masters, guitarist Trey Pollard, and Richmond-based Wells Hanley, an accomplished jazz pianist. This band creates its own special brand of acoustic music, covering the gamut from country to contemporary singer-songwriter acoustic music. With the varied backgrounds of the players involved it creates a real amalgam of sounds and textures.
Acoustic Image will perform at the Williamsburg Library Theatre, 515 Scotland St., on Friday, March 11 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for this Dewey Decibel Concert Series performance are $15 for adults, $13 for Friends of WRL and students, and $7 for those under 16.
