Sing off in Williamsburg VA

Any Sing-Off," fans in Williamsburg ? The NBC show featured some of the best a cappella groups in the country competing for a recording contract and $200,000.

Here in Williamsburg, the Corner Pocket will be hosting two a cappela groups from W&M on October 18th.

This is the third year groups from the William and Mary A Cappella Club perform at The Corner Pocket.   The Cleftomaniacs and The Accidentals. Each will each perform a 30 minute set, with The Accidentals at 7 pm, followed by The Cleftomaniacs at 7:45 pm.

The Accidentals are an elite all-female a cappella group that has entertained the William and Mary campus for over ten years.

The Cleftomaniacs are a co-ed group performing a repertoire that bounces around the musical spectrum, ranging from modern hits like "Cosmic Love" by Florence+The Machine to old classics like “Carry On my Wayward Son” by Kansas. All of their music is self arranged by various group members. Though the musical styles are varied, the high quality of the music never changes.

There is no cover charge for the performances.
