Wellington was developed by American Eastern, Inc., best known for the master-planned community of Coventry in York County, American Eastern (H.R. "Dick" Ashe) is a  residential builder/developer from the Hampton Roads and Williamsburg , VA area.  Since 1985, he has produced thousands of affordable townhomes and single-family homes.
The newest phase of the Wellington Community is now open. Lots are available, as are new homes in various stages of construction.
