Where: James City County/ Williamsburg Skatepark ,5301 Longhill Road
Williamsburg, VA 23188- Across from the rec center
Time: 12pm to 4pm. ( although the flyer showed 12-7 pm)
The day-long competition will feature over 100 local and regional athletes performing tricks and stunts on bikes and skateboards.
The event will begin at noon with an open jam session, followed by skateboard and BMX bike competitions.
Skateboarding has continue to gain in popularity nationally, thanks to the exposure of legend Tony Hawk and ESPN’s X-Games.
Hosted by Danny Parks/ Baby Bean Productions, Scion, Z-pizza & James City County Parks & Recreation. This is the first event of this kind for this area. A lot of hard work went into pulling this off. All are welcome. Come & watch or jam for free. Food-Music-A lot of great riders-No fees involved. Come on out and join in the jam.

Supporting the Tommy Karafa Memorial Day and Skate contest. Tommy was a Jamestown High student who died last year in a car crash on Centerville Road.

Located next to the James City/Williamsburg Community Center, the James City County Skate Park is 10,000 square feet of concrete jumps and ramps. It also features two movable ramps, a rail, a hand rail, and multiple grinding edges. Helmets and protective gear are recommended for your protection. Spectators are not permitted inside fenced area. Hours of operation are from 9 a.m. to dark daily.
