BMX/ Skatepark in Williamsburg VA

jcc skate park 003 Our two sons are attempting to learn stunts on their BMX bikes. This follows their skateboarding experience with multiple trips to the skatepark.

Here is a short video  ( poor quality)  that I shot today of them and some other kids doing a few tricks at the park. IF you go to watch there are benches around the perimeter. It does get a little hot in the afternoon sun, so go early. It also get’s a little crowded with “the older kids” who seem to intimidate our 9 and 11 year old boys.

Located next to the James City/Williamsburg Community Center, the James City County Skate Park is 10,000 square feet of concrete jumps and ramps. It also features two movable ramps, a rail, a hand rail, and multiple grinding edges.   Helmets and protective gear are recommended for your protection.  Spectators are not permitted inside fenced area.  Hours of operation are from 9 a.m. to dark daily.
