Our two sons are attempting to learn stunts on their BMX bikes. This follows their skateboarding experience with multiple trips to the skatepark.
Here is a short video ( poor quality) that I shot today of them and some other kids doing a few tricks at the park. IF you go to watch there are benches around the perimeter. It does get a little hot in the afternoon sun, so go early. It also get’s a little crowded with “the older kids” who seem to intimidate our 9 and 11 year old boys.
Located next to the James City/Williamsburg Community Center, the James City County Skate Park is 10,000 square feet of concrete jumps and ramps. It also features two movable ramps, a rail, a hand rail, and multiple grinding edges. Helmets and protective gear are recommended for your protection. Spectators are not permitted inside fenced area. Hours of operation are from 9 a.m. to dark daily.
