Williamsburg Regional Library announces it schedule for the 2009–10 Dewey Decibel Concert Series . Now in its 26th year of presenting concerts, the library offers an array of performances by jazz, folk and acoustic artists, which are performed in the theater. This series has been consistently voted best concert series in Williamsburg by area residents.
The series begins with a performance by Charlottesville jazz vocalist Stephanie Nakasian backed by Williamsburg’s Harris Simon Trio.
The concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, at the Williamsburg Library Theatre. Tickets are $15 for adults, $13 for Friends of WRL and students, and $8 for students under 16. Call 259-4070 for reservations.
Both Nakasian and Simon are adjunct faculty in the music department at the College of William & Mary.
