Be a part of history!
Enter the inaugural Run the D.O.G. [Duke of Gloucester] Street 5K.
Never before in the 311-year history of the City of Williamsburg have runners been allowed to compete over the historic streets of Colonial Williamsburg, to run past the Governor’s Palace and the Capitol Building, before a dramatic finish up Duke of Gloucester Street to the Bruton Parish Church and Merchants Square.
This first-time event will benefit Avalon of Williamsburg, the women’s shelter, and post-race festivities will include entertainment, refreshments, expo vendors, and the weekly Farmer’s Market in Merchants Square.
