Kingspoint is a quiet neighborhood nestled on College Creek and Halfway Creek in Williamsburg, Virginia. ( James City County) Homeowners who join as members enjoy a pool, playground, new clubhouse and newly landscaped grounds, as well as tennis courts and a dock (both in need of repair, but they’re working on it!) Conveniently located right off the Colonial National Historic Parkway and Rt 199 only a stones throw from Colonial Williamsburg and William & Mary.
Kingspoint is known for a friendly non-mandatory association with great amenities. Many home owners have stayed in the neighborhood, moving as the needs of their life have changed…upsizing, downsizing…water, no water, etc.
The private pier & boat launch are great community assets. When combined with the clubhouse, homeowners can experience all of the joys of waterfront living without the cost. There are also tennis courts and a large playground.
Lots in Kingspoint range in size from that is over an acre . Set on 272 acres there are approximately 224 homes in the community. Home were built starting in 1965 – the late 1980’s. The majority were built in the late 60’s and 70’s. Home sizes range from 1600 square to 5000 square feet.
The clubhouse and deck enjoy spectacular views of College Creek. If you are into kayaking you can follow College Creek all the way to the James River.
Kingspoint Club, Inc. is owned and supported by its members who are residents of Kingspoint neighborhood. It’s a voluntary organization. About 70% of Kingspoint residents are club members.
Kingspoint Club manages the pool, tennis courts, dock, and recently renovated clubhouse. The Club is run by a volunteer board of about 7 or 8 neighbors which oversees everything from planning Halloween parties to managing club finances (and everything in between).
While membership in the club is reserved for Kingspoint homeowners, a limited number of non-resident memberships are extended to the Williamsburg community. The pool is quiet, and the setting peacefully nestled on the shores of college creek. The pool area features a large 25 meter pool with a diving well, a shaded baby pool, an adjacent playground, tennis courts (in need of restoration, as is our dock), and a brand new clubhouse. Teen Adventures
This group is a way for teens to get together and have some fun! We’ll meet once a month and try something new each month: paintball, learn to play poker, rock climb in Richmond, water balloon fights in the summer, neighborhood scavenger hunt, flash light tag, ghost stories & s’mores by the fire pit, etc.
Pinterest Party (art/craft)
We’ll choose one artsy/crafty/home decor project from Pinterest to work on once a month! You don’t have to know about Pinterest to join this group, but if you are a Pinterest.com addict you probably have more “pins” than time to do them all, right? Our first project will be Wall Art with your favorite quote, quick and easy! Ideas welcome!
Healthy Living & Eating
We’re all trying to eat and live better, so let’s support each other. We’ll share recipes, offer tips and ideas, and encourage each other.
Anyone up for sampling a tasty green smoothie? Need tips on planning a week’s worth of healthy meals? We also have a Medifast coach interested in the group, so we’ll benefit from her knowledge as well.
