Richmond VA Parade of Homes 2010 starts Oct 2

Windsor Hallsley- Homesmith Richmond parade of homesThe Home Building Association of Richmond (HBAR) will kick off it’s 59th Annual Parade of Homes on Saturday October 2 and ending on Sunday October 17. This year’s Parade includes 52 new homes from 27 builder members, an amazing amount of participation given the current downturn in the economy. Over half of the Parade entries will be decorated and furnished models. The Parade homes are located in Goochland, Henrico, Hanover, King William, Chesterfield and Powhatan Counties as well as the City of Richmond, Virginia.

The Charles First Richmond Associates PArade of HomesBuilding on the great success of last year’s Parade, the 2010 event will have three weekend “Ask the Experts” programs focusing on a How to Maximize Your Kitchen, Enjoying Outdoor Living & Gardening and Creating Luxurious Living. The ever popular plan book for the “Parade Homes” can be found at Richmond area Martins and Kroger grocery stores.

2010 Parade Homes prices range from the $190’s to over $900,000.

The scattered site new home show will be held October 2-3, 9-10 and 16-17 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and admission is free. In addition, HBAR will have experts on hand at designated Parade homes located in Chesterfield County to talk about the latest trends:
