For the second year, New Kent Winery and the Club at Viniterra will host the Classics on the Green Wine Festival and European Auto Show. Set among the picturesque vineyards and rolling hills of the Viniterra golf course, the festival will take place this Sunday, September 18th, from 11am to 4pm.
With nearly 300 vehicles on display, Classics on the Green will showcase the cars of Austin-Healey, Rolls Royce, Aston Martin, Bentley, Ferrari, Porsche, Mercedes-Benz and many more. This year’s event will also feature for the first time a unique display of vintage racing cars. Presented by the Central Virginia British Car Club in conjunction with Classic Automotive Events of Virginia, Inc., this event will highlight the beauty of these extraordinary classic motor vehicles.
In addition to the automobile show, New Kent Winery will host a wine festival, complete with wine selections from its own winery as well as other local vineyards. Classics on the Green will also feature food and live music throughout the day, hot air balloon rides, vendors offering unique goods and services, and luxury car test drives.
Tickets to the Wine Festival and Car Show are $25 in advance and $35 the day of the show. Tickets to the Car Show only are $10, and children under 12 are free. Purchase your tickets using cash or check at the New Kent Winery, or with credit card at www.classicsonthegreen.com
