Special Event Dates For Busch Gardens Williamsburg in 2012

imageBusch Gardens Williamsburg has announced their special event and concert dates for the upcoming 2012 seasons in Williamsburg VA.

This year, the series also includes a gospel component.

"This really is a family-friendly event–the concerts themselves are for families to enjoy together," Crossett said.

Glory at the Gardens returns for another year in May and June with a sensational line-up of the top contemporary Christian and Gospel artists. This year Glory at the Gardens will only be on Sundays. The concerts will take place on  Sundays May 6 & 20, June 10 & 24, 2012.

Glory at the Gardens began in 2008 and has grown into the largest Christian music event in the region.

Christian and Gospel artists. Third Day, Kirk Franklin, Chris Tomlin and newsboys will perform Sundays this spring at the Royal Palace Theatre.

Artists appearing this year include  Cobra Starship, Kellie Pickler and Hot Chelle Rae. And later this summer, Victoria Justice, star of Nickelodeon’s Victorious, will take the stage as part of her first U.S. summer tour.

This spring, stars from the ASA Action Sports World Tour (ASA ASWT) will thrill fans with their own special brand of excitement when Ramp Jam opens at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, VA on April 22nd.This stars from the ASA Action Sports World Tour  will thrill fans with their own special brand of excitement when Ramp Jam opens at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, VA on April 22nd.

Performances by the action sports industry’s elite skateboarders, BMX riders and inline skaters will be featured on two weekends – April 22 & 23 April 28 & 29, 2012 – along with a lineup of local concerts between shows, interactive booths and activities to entertain the young, hip, thrill-seeking fans.

They will perform multiple shows daily on the 14-foot-tall half-pipe designed especially for Ramp Jam. All shows are included in the price of admission to the park each weekend. Show times and inform will be posted soon. Stay tuned…


Admission for all events is free with a park ticket. But if you know you’ll want to go back to Busch Gardens for at least one more day, the park recommends a Fun Card, which is the same price as single-day admission but lets you return as many times as you’d like until Sept. 3.

Parking, which costs $13, is not included in that pass,so an annual pass may be a better deal because it does include parking costs.
