The Classics Series
The eight-concert Classics season is filled with audience-appealing classical favorites showcasing composers much loved by JoAnn Falletta and Symphony audiences. “We’ve included some of your all-time favorites – thrilling repertoire like Mussorgsky/Ravel Pictures at an Exhibition, Respighi Pines of Rome, Beethoven Symphony No. 7, Schubert Symphony No. 9 and Mozart Requiem,” stated VSO Music Director JoAnn Falletta. “We will be joined by a galaxy of stars from violin virtuoso Chloe Hanslip to piano superstar Jon Kimura Parker to extraordinary double bassist Edgar Meyer,” she continued. “This is truly a season not to miss, and one that you will always remember!”
