I haven’t updated my info about Liberty Ridge since back in 2008 when they were putting in the roads and much progress has been made since then .
Liberty Ridge is a large lot community being developed by East West Partners. It is conveniently located along in James City County/ Williamsburg along Centerville Rd south of the intersection of Longhill Rd, Just past D.J Montague Elementary. Colonial Williamsburg and Interstate 64 are both within a 10 minute drive of the community
A total of 138 homeowners will be able to call Liberty Ridge home once the community is fully built out.. Home sites are all a minimum of 3 acres. There are larger lots as well ,some as large as nine acres in size.
Home buyers looking for larger lot neighborhoods in the Williamsburg Va area and have a variety of communities to choose from . Skimino Landing Estates along with The Conservancy, The Retreat , Wexford Hills, Woodland Farms, Merry Oaks, Uncles Neck and Banbury Cross are the most popular neighborhoods. Most of these offer 2+ acres yards. There are also numerous parcels off of Forge Rd, Brickbat Rd and others throughout the area that are simply rural or non neighborhood locations.Most of these are typically in the western part of James City or York County.

Sale prices of the 20 homes with acreage that sold in the last 12 months have ranged from $247,500 for a smaller 80’s ranch on 2+ acres to $1,195,000 for a 5000+ square foot home on 23 acres in the Jamestown area of Williamsburg ( a rare occurrence to find this much land so close to Colonial Williamsburg)

Westport, the upcoming community that was mired in the financial duress of the Ford Family/ Ford’s Colony debacle will hopefully be moving forward within the next 12 months as well. Westport like Liberty Ridge, Wexford Hills, The Retreat , etc. will offer 3+ acre lots in a location right down the street from Liberty Ridge. Its location is just outside the Manchester gate of Ford’s Colony on Centerville Rd. .
