Arts Month 2012 in Williamsburg VA

A host of wonderful events welcome both local and visiting art lovers. 

Next Thursday night’s concert by the Virginia Symphony Orchestra at Lake Matoaka Amphitheatre, kicks off  Arts Month in Williamsburg, VA  The annual concert, co-sponsored by the City of Williamsburg and the College of William & Mary, marks the beginning of Williamsburg’s second month-long celebration of the arts.

Galleries and performing arts venues throughout the area will be holding special Arts Month Events during September, culminating with an open air concert in Merchants Square Friday, October 5th as prelude to An Occasion for the Arts, October 6-7, 2012. Events include gallery strolls, artisan demonstrations, live musical performances, wine tastings, behind -the-scenes tours and more!
