During this holiday season, I want to share three personal and deeply moving stories from Facebook fans about the meaning of Colonial Williamsburg to them. Each story reminds us in its own way that the representation of the history that was made here conveys to people of all generations an understanding of our struggle to be free and equal, to be effective practitioners and stewards of American citizenship. This is a place that continues to inspire future generations and for some, coming here feels like coming home.
Whether you visited us, enjoyed our onsite programming, or participated in our distance learning programs, we thank you for your support in 2011.
