There are numerous approaches to real estate marketing. Most agents still cling to traditional media, advertising their listings in newspapers and homes magazines, and relying on “for sale” signs to generate prospective buyers. While all those activities certainly have their place, I believe that marketing efforts are much more productive when they are focused online, where almost 90% of homebuyers begin their search. In addition to my print media campaigns in the VA Gazette, Homes and Land, The Daily Press I have created an extensive online marketing platform for my listing inventory, and the results speak for themselves. My strategy includes:
- Syndicating an enhanced version of my listings to 20+ real estate related websites and portals. You won’t get better exposure, anywhere, period.
- Maintaining a Page 1 Google ranking for www.mrwilliamsburg.com (Just try googling “Williamsburg real estate” and check it out!). This insures that I have the attention of MOST buyers who are exploring a move to our area. Where many marketers do this with pay-per-click, I achieve these results with content.
- Blogging about Williamsburg and the surrounding area. As a prolific blogger, I post an article (and sometimes 2 or 3) every day, which are read by hundreds of readers around the world. If you look for the “Live Traffic Feed on the left side bar of the page @ www.WilliamsburgsRealEstate.com, you can see in real time where my site traffic comes from, any time of day. Pretty cool!
So, if traditional methods of real estate marketing haven’t worked for you, I would welcome the opportunity to show you how Mr. Williamsburg gets homes SOLD!
